Our G2RV range of plug-in industrial relays, the only truly industrial 6 mm relay available on the market, has now been extended to include relays specifically designed to reliably switch sensitive loads like input signals.

Ideally suited for interfacing input applications, including the provision of galvanic separation between signalling devices and PLC inputs, the segregation of AC and DC circuits, and the separation of circuits operating at different voltage levels, the new light-load input relays in the G2RV range feature gold plated contacts rated 50 mA at up to 30 V AC or 36 V DC.

Easy wiring while guaranteeing fault-free connections
The relays feature our three-click connection system that eliminates the need for screwdrivers and soldering, and allows fast and easy wiring while guaranteeing fault-free connections every time. In addition, integral LEDs and mechanical flag indicators mean that the status of the relays can be checked instantly and accurately.

Dedicated cables for connecting G2RV input relays to Omron CJ1W programmable controllers (PLCs) and to the Omron Smartslice I/O system have also been added to the range, along with cables for use with Siemens S7/300 and S7/400 PLCs. Cables for the new Omron NX I/O system have been added to the portfolio as well.

Exceptional levels of reliability
Like all relays in the G2RV range, the new models offer exceptional levels of reliability. In DC switching tests at 100 mV with a 1 mA resistive load, they easily achieved failure rates at Q level according to the JIS C5003 standard, which corresponds to just five failures in 100 million operations, whereas competitive products typically have failure rates that are at least twice as high.

As well as the new light-load input models, our G2RV range of space-saving industrial relays includes standard models for switching loads up to 6A, which are available with a choice of six coil voltages including universal current versions.
