IP67 Sensor/Actuator Boxes (SA Boxes)The IP67 Fieldbus system does not offer in every situation the flexibility and cost-effectiveness which would allow the user to achieve a consistent change-over from the IP20 to the IP67 automation system.  For this reason, effective IP20/IP67 solutions provide a useful alternative.  Using the new IP67 sensor/actuator boxes from WAGO, signal acquisition is achieved close to the machine. Through the connection to the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 (protection type IP20) installed in the switch cabinet, the user obtains maximum performance capability, flexibility and convenience (Fieldbus system, scalability, programmability, etc.). By this means, installation and servicing costs are reduced, since, on the one hand, savings can be made on switch cabinets and cable materials and, on the other hand, commercially-available M8/M16, M12/M23 plug connectors allow an uncomplicated and safe connection. Therefore, in a straightforward and economical way, even complex automation requirements are solved with the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM family.
